For Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend and I decided to try The Carpenter Bar downtown, and let’s just say that I could stay there all day! The bar itself was absolutely beautiful – marble countertops, gold accents everywhere, fun lights on the walls, lit candles on the tables – you name it, they thought of it.
Not only was the bar beautiful, but the drinks were delicious! My boyfriend got an old-fashioned (not my fav but it was good!), and I got an espresso martini. Wow… It was amazing!! The drinks were a little pricey for a broke college student, but I budgeted to go out, so it was all good.
After that, we walked down to Pho Thai, and I had pho for the first time. It was so good! I’ll definitely have to revisit.
