Downtown Sioux Falls is hosting its annual Burger Battle, and as a new Sioux Falls resident, I had to check it out.
I loved trying a few burgers from different places (Wileys Bar’s “The Pickleback Smash,” Blarney Stone’s “The Shepherd’s Pie Burger,” and Remedy Brewing Co.’s “The Brewmaster Burger”), but my absolute favorite was Crawford Bar’s “Black Tie Burger”!
The description of the burger is as follows: “Brisket and petite tender grind sits atop arugula and warm bacon relish, finished with whipped Brie, pickled onion, Bumberry BBQ, and a crisp potato stack on a Dijonaisse-toasted pretzel bun.”
With a steep price point ($23 for a burger and fries), I was a little apprehensive to try it out in case I didn’t like it, but it was absolutely delicious. It would be wonderful if they added it to their menu.
I really enjoyed taking part in this battle, and I plan to do more next year!!
