Upcoming trend for 2026!

Hi friends!

Although 2026 is still a month away, I thought it would be fun to dig into a few design trends that we’ll see in the new year.

According to Vistaprint, the “Tactile Craft” design trend is on track to be popular in 2026. This design trend blends digital work with human-crafted elements such as embroidery, felt, fabric, crochet, and cut/ripped paper. It gives a sense of tangibility that I think many designs lack, especially in the age of AI.

Vistaprint lists these as the key features of the Tactile Craft design trend:

  • Digitally created embroidery, stitching, and sewn details
  • Fabric 3D textures that mimic felt, wool, or cotton
  • Paper cutouts and glued-edge effects that create depth
  • Patchwork compositions that combine contrasting textures
  • Real-world color tones rather than over-saturated digital hues
  • Collage-style layering that feels playful and approachable

After reading about this design trend, I started looking for it when I came across advertisements and posters, and wow, I was surprised! It’s everywhere! Personally, I really like it because it mimics something that can be touched or made by humans.
