Hi friends!
As someone with little downtime and a lot of hobbies, I thought it would be best if I picked up another one! (Okay, maybe not my best idea…) Anyway, I’ve really been enjoying making cards for people! Now, they’re probably not as fancy as you think, but they’re pretty nice if I do say so myself.
I’ve been using watercolor paper, acrylic markers, and fineliner pens to make them, which has been really fun to do since I spend most of my day staring at my computer. The watercolor paper has a good texture to it, and the ink doesn’t bleed through which is great. Having a tangible craft is such a nice brain break, but it’s also really nice to be able to share my finished product with someone else.
I made cards for Hannah & Eric’s birthdays (which I totally forgot to take a picture of …oops), and I plan on making one for Erin that I interviewed last week as a thank-you card. I haven’t exactly nailed down what I want to draw on the outside of it, but I’m sure I can find some inspiration somewhere!
When I finish Erin’s card, I should update this post…
