One of the designers that I’ve been following recently is Lauren Hom. She’s a designer who started out in advertising, but made her career in designing not long after.
She has worked for Starbucks, Refinery29, TIME magazine, and Hallmark (and many more)!
I love the way she uses typography to take up space without feeling too crowded. She lets the type breathe and gives it enough dimension to create movement throughout. She also does murals and food photography, which I think is so fun!
I really look up to her because she doesn’t keep herself in a box and lets her creativity shine.
