Today we had an industry tour to carsforsale.com, and after our tour, I think that this company is a great role model for design companies!
From their snack bar to the mini golf station to the life-size T. rex planted in the middle of their main office section, I think this company knows how to keep its employees happy and entertained.
In talking to representatives from both HR and the web design team, it also seems like the company is great at providing time off, fostering team bonding, and offering time during the week for continued education. (I think they said it was about 4 hours a week for education purposes.)
I think all companies should offer benefits like this for their employees!
